Very small room but clean and functional. Good for one person or a petite couple.

Remodeling is done, you MUST stay here!

My mom and I are so greatful that she found this cute little hotel through Sam's Club travel! There are still some small indications of the remodel but nothing that got in our way. The hotel is beautiful, very modern and the staff can be described as nothing less than PHENOMENAL!!! Everyone was friendly and polite. The one request we made to the front desk, there was someone at our door almost as soon as we hung up. The Doorman Danny and the Bellmen were unbelieveably nice people. The location is good if you're looking for quiet. It's not near any touristy stuff but it's a block from a major bus route and two blocks from a subway station so we had no troubles getting anywhere. Can't wait to go back!!!

Friendly experience

We found the hotel staff to be very courteous and friendly and every request we made was accommodated, including being asked to move rooms after a rather noisy and sleepless first night on the third floor. Being from Bermuda we are not used to traffic noise so found it very difficult to sleep with all of the activities of 3rd Ave permeating our room. If you are a light sleeper or do not like a lot of street noise we would recommend requesting a room on the 7,8,9 or 10th floors. Both rooms given to us were extremely spacious, newly renovated and the beds were very comfortable. They seemed to be having some problems with the in-house movies in both rooms when we were there but this hopefully has been fixed now. The complimentary wine and cheese reception was a nice touch. We would definitely stay at this hotel again.

the minute i walked in i knew the hotel was nothing like its website had pictured. the place reminded me of an old nasty motel. the carpet was not cut properly, the walls were painted improperly, signs were hung loopsided, the overall apperance of the hotel was ghetto. i checked out immediately after seeing my room and stayed elsewhere.

a mess
