I stayed at the Raffaello for a weekend in July and was very impressed by the location and the service. It was my first visit to Chicago and conceirge was very helpful to make dinner reservations for me. The front desk was very pleasant and welcoming. The decor of the room is very modern and comfortable. I will be sure to stay here for my next visit to Chicago!!!

Great Stay in Chicago!

Clean, well furbished rooms with character - welcoming staff - great location - only minor drawback was that in-room internet connection never worked. Had I been desperate I could have used the internet in the business center for a fee. I would most assuredly stay here again and recommend it to other travelers who are in Chicago for leisure! Easy stroll to lake, Magnificent Mile, Rush Street dining.

All new

Former location of The Rafael Hotel, this place has been completely renovated. It is not the hotel where there is weekly protesting. That is the Congress Hotel which is about 2 miles away. The location couldn't be better. The only problems I can see is the front desk service and the tiny bathroom with no tub. The beds are extremely comfy and it is worth upgrading to a deluxe suite.

Great experience !

We stayed at the Raffaello for 2 nights. The suite was very large, modern, nicely decorated and very clean with a great bed, a nice flat screen TV... The only negative comment I would have is that the bath room is relatively small compared to the rest of the room and there there was no bath tub. The staff was overall very helpful with a special mention to the concierge who gave us pretty good tips for dining. Overall, we thought this was a great hotel, ideally located and a favorable alternative to the large hotel chains in town... too bad it lacks a restaurant or even a bar to relax.

A truly great hotel.

Wow , what a nice place. I was very pleased. great staff , quality thruout and charm. once they are fully up and running (still fine tuning) they are going to be the best deal around. Try to get a delux suite on the front- not too high up maybe 4-6 floor with views of Deleware and the trees. i think the 09's have a seperate bath. the living room and bedroom were huge. A great place. I would have liked to use the rooftop deck, but it was not open yet. I think it will be this summer!!!!!!!!!!!
