Best Hotel rooms in the area!

My fiancee and I stayed here for 3nts while in town for a wedding at the Don Ceasar. I am a total hotel snob when it comes to the room...I want a very comfortable bed, nice pillows, upscale bathroom, and VERY clean. The reviews of the resort hotels in the ST Pete area did not seem to offer this. This Marriott definitely fit my high standards...and my budget! Wow, I got an insanely cheap rate and didnt have to pay a "resort fee", parking fee, or pay for breakfast. The hotel was about 15 mins from the St Pete Beach resort area, but an EASY drive. The hotel is right on the beach and also has a pool. The complimentary breakfast was such a nice touch...we rolled out of bed, grabbed a big breakfast and hit the beach without getting in our car. Theres also a cute icecream shop right in front of the property. If you want a clean/upscale room on the beach...definitely book the Treasure Island Marriott!
Good Choice

This was an overall great experience. I really don't have any complaints to make except for the design of the sink in the bathroom in terms of functionality. There was no counter space. We had a room that didn't exactly face the Gulf (none of them do) but the lady at check-in gave us a room as close as possible. The room overlooked the beach line which was nice and once you step out onto the balcony, the view gets even better. The hotel is right on the beach so it was wonderful being able to walk a short distance to enjoy the warm waters of the Gulf. They had a happy hour special behind the front lobby in a small bar area that was a real bargain. Breakfast was excellent, although I wish they would make it last until later in the morning (it only lasted until 9:30am). At 9:30am, people were still trying to grab breakfast and there was hardly a seat to take. The room itself was clean, the staff was super friendly, and I wish we could've stayed longer.
Wow!

This place was beyond what we expected.
The staff were extremly freindly, helpful, and went out of their way to make sure we were having a wondeful stay.
The rooms were very clean and the A/C can really freeze you out of house and home. We stayed on the 8th floor and the view was very nice. The bed and furniture in the room was very comfortable and relaxing.
The complimentary breakfast was very tasty with a wide range of choices from fruit and cereal, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes, and freshly made waffles. They also offered 4 different juice choices as well as coffee, water, and milk.
I would highly recommend this hotel to everyone.
