The desk staff was exceptional but unfortuneately the room wasn't. The spare blanket reeked of body odor, our balcony smelled like urine, the door handle came off, the paint was starting to bubble up on the walls, the microwave stand was leaning and looked like it was about to fall over and the carpet was coming up in a few spots. The hotel is in great need of an overhaul. I didn't expect the Hilton but it was not worth what we paid for 2 nights. The stff took care of the urine smell on the balcony after the first night and I made them aware of the other issues when I departed. They wrote the issues down and hopefully will attend to it.

We were very happy with our stay at Grand Shores. The only thing we missed was the play area that is advertised but, was not there. My kids didn't miss it much though so, not a big deal. The room was a good size and our view of the beach was excellent! The staff was VERY nice and very helpful. I liked the parking garage. It was nice to be able to park near our room. The pools were nice and the indoor pool was great in the evenings for the kids. We would stay here again.

although our room had a fantastic view of the ocean the comfort of the room was not there at night when it was time to relax after a very full day. alittle remodel could go along way.

The location of this hotel is absolutely perfect. It is right on the beach and has a beautiful ocean view from its rooms. The staff was very polite and helpful. I really enjoyed my stay at Grande Shores.
