Do not stay there you will be sorry

Let me start by saying.....lies, lies, lies. Everything we were told was not at all what we expected. All the water park stuff is outside not indoors and its NOT HEATED try that on for size. After 4th move to 4 different rooms, finally got a place with no stove and all the food we brough could not use. It was the worst Easter week I have every spent. Beware they do not seem to care much. I will be more careful next time that is for sure
Bike Week vacation

This was our third year at the Sand Dunes for our bike week vacation. Our room was great - but last year we had a washer and dryer in our room and this year we did not. We missed that feature. At Check In the woman at the front desk was NOT friendly(no thank you or have a nice stay,not even a smile) and she did not speak clearly and was no help with giving us directions to where we needed to park our trailor, a maintnence man was very helpful showing us where we could park.We had a better experience when we decided to stay another day,the woman at the front desk was very friendly.We are planning on returning next year for bike week 2009.

From Check-in this was a horrible experience. Urine soaked bed from previous residents and we were expected to stay in the room. Once we finally got them to issue another room, they gave us keys to an occupied room. People were in the bed sleeping when we entered the room. Offered no apologies, no assistance, no remorse. Horrible customer service in all areas including bar/restaurant, no maid service (had to ask for towels and toilet paper), no ice in machines, huge bugs in our room, 80% of chairs by pool were broken, public restrooms were dirty and had no toilet paper. All around worse experience ever at the beach. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

The waterpark is great! The breakfast is great and River City Caf?s great too! Our room had a lot of room was good w/a little wear. The service is terrible. They charged us a different rate than was quoted. We talked to the manager; he said he would credit us, but not yet. We couldn?t get towels and our room cleaned. They just skipped our room or would make a couple of beds. The staff didn't know their hotel. When I asked where the Kid's Club was meeting, they didn't know or couldn?t tell me where to find it.

Nice hotel with lots of stuff for the kids to do, great view, good size room. Could have been a little cleaner though. Overall WONDERFUL experience, will go back!
