Fire At The Mountain Top
My stepfather, daughter, and I were driving late-night in a moving truck on I40 in Arizona. I could tell that we were all tired because my stepfather was driving off the road. Fortunately, - the smoke from the fires on the Arizona mountains had awoken us up to realize that we must stop at a hotel sooner than later. The smoke from the fire was so heavy that we were all coughing up a lung. My stepfather and I decided that it was time to pull over to the nearest hotel- That is where we would stop at Fairfield Hotel Inn.
Service
When we arrived at the hotel, we were ready to pass out. When we checked in, the hotel was packed. The person at the desk was kind enough to check if there were any rooms left at the hotel. Lucky for us, there was. What was even great was that he even took a military discount, which was a huge discount.
Tip: If you are in the MILITARY, ask for a military discount at this hotel.
Room
We made it to our room ready to go to sleep. With the smoke filling up our rooms, it was pretty hard to go to sleep. I shall not use the fact that there was fire nearby the hotel to a negative on the hotel. The room was nice and clean for the one night we would stay there. The tv was not a flat-screen, though, but as I have said on reviews on hotels, I am a big snob when it comes to flat-screen tvs in hotel
Breakfast
No one can really complain about free breakfast unless that breakfast is really bad. The breakfast we had was something that you would expect from any hotel that you would go to. Pancake batter, apples, bananas, cereals, orange juice, and coffee are all found this place.
My Thoughts/Feelings
Even though it was a smoked-filled evening, I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The beds were so comfortable that I slept like a baby. The reception was nice and breakfast filled me that I did need to eat until I went in to New Mexico. All in all, I was pleased to come here.

We had a great stay at the Fairfield Inn in Flagstaff. The service is excellent and the accommodations are nice & clean. The breakfast buffet has an ample variety to satisfy anyone. I would definitely recommend this hotel to all travelers. It made the trip that much more memorable!

This is a rundown, dirty, and overpriced Fairfield. The only thing that kept them from getting the " should've slept in the car rating" was the friendly staff.
