Comfortable at the Comfort Inn

I just recently stayed at this hotel and I must say that I was pleased. The hotel was very close to the mall and Emerald Pointe waterpark. The room was clean. The pillows were great. The breakfast was good. Your average continental breakfast: cereal, apples and bananas, waffles, toast, bagels with all the fixings, muffins and danishes, cheese and juice. The guest attendants were nice also. The only negative thing was the power went out for about an hour due to a storm which was out of their control. The phones were out as well, and no one came around and said how long the power was going to be out or anything like that. Thank God it was daylight outside or I would have really been upset. The pool was nice too. The had towels for you to use at the pool which I thought was nice. The hotel provided all of your amenities, you really don't have to bring anything but your clothes!!

OK for overnight only. Hotel is in dire need of a remodel. Carpet in hallways is old and smells. A liitle new paint would help. Room was actually better. It was clean and did not smell like hallway. Since I will be returning to Greensboro often, I will be looking for a diiferent Hotel.

Nothing special, I just thought the place deserved a good word. Typical room, clean and comfortable. Comfortable price, too. Didn't have time to use the pool but it looked inviting. I'd stay there again.

Good Efforts Made

Checkin was a dissapointment. We did not get the room (non-smoking) that we had reserved. No elevator and dark hallways made motel feel depressing. After a night in a poorly ventelated room, the manager asked how we liked our room. She then made the effort to switch us to a 1st floor non-smoking room. Rest of the stay was nice. This is a older property that need updating. Thanks to the Manager, we ended up enjoying our stay.
