3-day stay

Hotel itself was fine. Nice & quiet, away from noises of trains. But two problems: (1) no elevator to get to second floor. A problem for seniors lugging bags upstairs, esp. at 6,900-ft. elevation; and (2) either the heater or air conditioner functions. In June it was the air conditioner. However, it gets cold at night (below 40 degrees) but was unable to heat up the room. So at night it felt "cold." Otherwise, great location & good service.

This hotel was not anything fancy but was clean, functional and quiet. Bed was comfortable and price was reasonable for the area. Bedding and towels were not fancy but were clean and comfortable. Offers very basic continential breakfast.

Very happy with our stay

We stayed at this hotel for three nights in early April 2009 and it was everything that we expected. The room was what we'd picked, it was clean, quiet, and everything worked as it should. The major plus I noted, being a light sleeper, was that there was no loud heating/AC unit in the room to keep you awake. The heat was operated with a thermostat on the wall and was virtually silent. The advertisements are correct, there is no train noise, and its located in an area with restaurants, gas stations and grocery stores in very close proximity. We had no problems getting around or finding what we needed. Plus, it's a great location for visiting the Grand Canyon without paying the Grand Canyon prices. I would definitely stay again and would recommend it to others.

This hotel was very clean and nicely located. The thing that made it stand out was the front desk employees. They were very friendly and helpful. I had been given directions to a friends house and wanted to make sure i got on the right road. The young lady looked at my directions and gave me a more simple way to get there.

Good location! Many restaurants and stores (Target, etc) nearby

The room we stayed was clean. Front desk staff was friendly. Free continental breakfast (Muffins, milk, cereal, apples, bananas, toast, bagels, yogurt) was so-so. It will be better if they have something hot such as scramble eggs or waffles.
