I had a great time in Las Vegas. My hotel stay was very pleasant. We didn't encounter any problems with checking in or with the rooms. The rooms were clean, the staff was very helpful and the hotel/casino was very nice. The hotel is at the north end of the strip, away from all the crowds closer to the newer hotels, however everyone in my party agreed that not staying in the middle of all the hustle and bustle, made the trip that much more enjoyable. It was easy enough to go down the strip to the newer hotels and be a part of that exicitement, but it was nice to head back to the Stratosphere for a more relaxed atmosphere. Not having to wait for seats at a gaming table or having others standing around waiting to jump on your machine the minute you stepped away for a break, was very nice. I would definitly go back to Vegas and would stay here again.

I really enjoyd my stay. We had a wonderful view of the city of Las Vegas. The tower was a great plus for the beautiful view of the whole city. The kids really enjoyed the rides on top of the tower. Would like to see more resturants in the hotel besides McDonalds.

My husband and I went to Las Vegas this March for our anniversary. It was the first time either of us had been. We stayed at the Stratosphere because of the affordablilty! The room was very clean! The beds were very comfortable, and the bathroom was spacious and clean! All of the staff were very helpful and friendly! There were lots of shops and restaurants there! Fat Tuesday had awesome drinks! The view from the tower was breathtaking! Our room was on the 17th floor, and we had a beautiful view of the mountains! Although we were a long distance from the heart of the strip, the Duece was a very affordable ($7 for 24 hr. pass) to get to and fro. We were close to the Fremont Experience; on Fremont there was great food &drinks, a light show and entertainment!
We can not wait to come back and we are definitely considering staying at the Stratosphere again! I was very pleased with my stay!

The rooms were very large, clean and well appointed. The bed was very comfortable. Check in and check out was easy and quick. One comment is the charge for local phone calls and a $50.00 deposite required for being allowed to make phone calls even though they already have your credit card copy on file. That was excessive.
Except for the phone situation it was fine.

Bedding comfortable, large counter in bathroom can allow for many to get ready at once. Free shuttle only runs after 6:00 pm, retail shops have rude/irritable employees however pool is very nice with friendly bar staff, has a variety of dining options. Decent place to stay for the cost, cabs vary from $10-$15.00 if you go to hot spots on the strip.
