Smokers Beware!

The hotel has smoking rooms only in their oldest section, which is also the farthest away from anything in the hotel, so lots of walking to get to your elevators. In addition, I don't think much care has ever been given to ventilating the smoking floors. The floor reeked from the moment we stepped off the elevator, and only got worse as we got to the room. There was no ventilation in the room aside from the fan in the bathroom. The one good thing I found at the hotel was that they did have motorized scooters available for rent which was very helpful to me as I have mobility issues.
Wouldn't go back

Was suppose to have premium room with view. First night was stuck in a hole on the fifth floor looking our at the base of the tower and air conditioning units. 2nd night they moved us to a premium room on the 17th floor which was smaller with no refrigerator or microwave and right outside was the ice machine. They put all this money into this beautiful pool and it was too cold to swim in. Elevators were a nightmare. Some had the fifth floor and others did not. Since I was on the fifth floor the first night, I really needed to find a elevator with a fifth floor.
Took forever to get served in resteraunts. The 50's dinner had a line of people waiting in the front, yet there were more than a dozen seats open. The waitress kept telling people "where just clearing off some tables" yet you could clearly see that was not the case. Why can't they just tell people the truth instead of us having to waste our time.
Won't go back.

There is a lack of service at Stratosphire. On check in they hurry you through after a 20 min wait in line. They give you a book of cupons but no information on what is available in the hotel.
There was nothing in the room about the services of the hotel, no room service menu, no information about shows, no informaiton about dining.
The pool and hot tubs close at 6pm, but you don't know that until you try to use them in the evenings.
You can't walk more than 10 steps without somone trying to hook you into a time share presentation.
The hotel is at the far end of the strip in a bad part of town.
WOULD NOT STAY HERE AGAIN

First trip to Vegas, stratosphere staff unfriendly and unhelpful. Top of the World Restaurant was a rip off, complete with view of the town and someone's vomit on the floor. Room was dirty, slot machines were not loose as advertised. Bartenders at the C lounge not very friendly. Time share people were relentless.

For the price of the room $** a night, you can't beat this place! Our room was on the 24th floor with a great view of the strip. We were next to the elevator, but it was still very quiet. When you are in Vegas, you aren't in the room much anyway, but even the times we were in the room, it was good, clean, and spacious. The casino and restaurants are typical of LV hotels. The price of the room also included a trip to the top of the stratosphere and 2 for 1 tickets to the hotel's shows and rides at the top. When we checked in, we also received a coupon book. The pool and spa areas are both nice, too, and we enjoyed a couple of mornings on the 8th floor pool/hottub area. There is a shuttle available to take you down the strip, but we walked and enjoyed walking off all the food we ate! Like I said, you can't beat the price!!
