Bang for your money

Definitely value for your money if you are in town during low season. This is my second stay, first being May 2007. Seems like they had improved on the closet space from 1.5feet depth to a regular closet depth (good job with the improvement). Room is clean and the hard beds are good for your posture! A stone throw from hotel to Tsuen Wan West MTR while Tsuen Wan MTR is a little farther. Lots of eateries and mall within a block from the hotel. The staff is very helpful. Watch out if you intend to use your laptop cuz the wireless hookup does not work from the room. The freebie internet in the lobby is useful only if they are not constantly occupied by children playing video games. The hotel should consider putting up signs to limit each usage to a mere 15 minutes, this way other guests can hop on for more worthy causes other than video games. Hopefully my third stay at L'nina will see better accomodation as far as using the internet is concerned.

Great Value/Beautiful Area and Views

The spacious one bedroom unit was great for our family. The kitchen was a Godsend. Added bonuses: in-suite laundry facilities, great views, location! Meadows is away from the super active areas of Branson. Shepherd of the Hills, Broadway! and Table Rock Lake are MUSTS. The pools are too small to accommodate the number of guests. Branson visitors beware: avoid the Home of the Tossed Rolls (Fall Creek Catfish and Steak House). Rudeandslowservice and awful food! "Since a conglomerate took it over it's not been the same since," per the locals. We'd stay at here again.

This is a great resort!! The one-bedroom unit we stayed in has a lot of space--large living area and bathroom. The location is away from the busy downtown area, and the setting is beautiful. Everything is easily accessible by car and is within a few minutes of most everything.

Pointe Royale Golf course right next door.

Best Things About the Resort:
Spaciousness, location.

Resort Experience:
Fairfield Meadows II at Branson met our expectations. It wasn't awesome, but it was more than sufficient for what we needed. The staff, for the most part, was friendly. Some of the "guest associates", mostly older men in golf carts, went way out of their way to help us. We loved them!

The one bedroom unit we had was on the second floor, overlooking the parking lot...yipee! The private balcony, however, had a terrific vantage point right onto the main event stage. Every night, some sort of themed party was held. Although we didn't attend any of them, we could easily enjoy the music from our balcony. Once the sliding door to the balcony was closed, however, the unit was quiet! Even with the music going full blast right outside. The insulation was impressive.

The best thing about this resort was the spaciousness of the unit. It had a long entry way, followed by a large kitchen and a huge living room. The bathroom boasted a whirlpool tub and a separate, large shower enclosure.

The beef I had with the unit was the horrendous cigarette stink when we walked into the room. The resort did send up an air purifier, but I think my lungs may have taken an awful hit in the first day. The resort does have a "voluntary non-smoking" policy inside its units, but there were actually ash trays provided!!!!! I think that they really should divide the units into smoking and nonsmoking and stop subjecting non smokers to the putrid stuff. Other than that and the dim lighting, the place was fine.

The kitchen appliances were all very nice, and the in-unit laundry was a great touch. The location was superb, absolutely no complaints. We were there to play golf, and almost every course was within a quick 10-15 min. drive, sometimes even just 5 minutes. The gym was only so-so, but it is better than most timeshare places. The pool was mediocre, but do-able.

The Butteryfly Place, theatres, and Table Rock Dam.

Best Things About the Resort:
Clean, well-maintained. Staff was extremely helpful and courteous.

Resort Experience:
The location of the Fairfield at the Meadows was great. It was off the busy strip of Branson, yet it was still convenient to get to all the attractions. There was an activity center that gives guests great discounts on tickets for shows and activities.
