the front desk was friendly and willing to help, they brought me a crib at 11 at night. We were really dissapointed though because the bar was already closed at 10:30, since when does a bar close that early especially when it said it was open till 1? Also no complimentry or continental breakfest. The bartender was very nice when we were there for happy hour, and the beer was an awesome price. During the night at 1:30AM someone kept slamming their door and wiggling it and we called down below but they didn't do much because this kept on till 2:30 AM. And there was a dog we heard whining, just a lot of noise from the hallway!!!!! Mostly would have been fine if we didn't have such roudy neighbors. So the sleep wasn't wonderful. Otherwise it was clean. newly renovated maybe, but the bed didn't seem too new.

My family and I were pleased to find that this is not your standard Holiday Inn! The hotel was beautiful and not what I expected from a Holiday Inn! Our friends recommended this hotel over the Doubletree and Hilton Garden Inn and I will have to say they were right! Cool, contemporary feel yet right at home friendly staff! The indoor pool was great for the kid's and the large comfy rooms gave us the rest we needed! I was even more thrilled when we went down to their restaurant for breakfast--What a gorgeous restaurant and good food! The pricing, atmosphere and service was all wonderful and truly has changed my mind about Holiday Inn's! My husband and I met friends for drink in the bar and I had the best martini I have ever had! Kudos to the staff in Missoula and Kudos to Holiday Inn's for putting out a new and improved product!! We look forward to trying out other Holiday Inn's!

Great Location, Friendly Staff

My girlfriend and I stayed here while in town visiting friends. The hotel itself is beautiful and there is no better location. The hotel is located next to a park and the river and downtown. Everything is with in walking distance. The weather was chilly, but we still enjoyed walking around downtown and shopping in all the cool local shops. Many members of the staff said hello to us every time we entered the lobby. We had dinner in the hotel restaurant and the food was amazing! I had a steak, and it was absolutely perfect! I can't wait to back for a longer stay when the weather is warm. MIssoula is beautiful!

Lovely Place to Stay-Clean, Comfortable and Very Accommodating

My husband and I have stayed at the Holiday Inn Downtwon on numerous occasions and have always found it a lovely place to stay. We enjoyed the walk along the Clark Fork River; the hotel itself was quiet, top-notch, clean and the staff very accommodating. We ate in the restaurant and the food was excellent, staff very efficient, polite and attentive. Our luggage was lost by the airlines on our last trip and the Holiday Inn staff checked on it for two days straight, when the luggage was finally found the Holiday staff went and picked it up and brought it to our room without even being asked. You can't imagine our relief and appreciation for the Holiday Inn staff to consider our luggage so important. By that time, we were almost like famly to them as they checked frequently about our comfort and welfare. We would choose no other hotel in Missoula, MT ohter than the Holiday Inn Downtown. Upon our departure of the hotel, the hotel shuttle provided us with snacks and water and asked about our stay and welcomed us back anytime. Thanks Holiday Inn for being such a wonderful Home away from Home-We will certainly be back! The Magees

Worst Value for your money

Traveling across country with my family, this is the worst hotel we have stayed at so far. There were several budget hotels (Super 8, Motel 6) that were far nicer than this and well 1/3 the price. Their website said that their renovation was complete on the 30th of June, however, the halls carpet was missing. The room itself had wallpaper bubbling off the walls. There were electrical sockets that were missing covers in the room. This was a major saftey concern for my two children (2 and 3 years old). There were lights burnt out in the rooms, and the internet connection was so slow that speed test showed it was 46 kbps (slower than a dial-up modem). The worst part about it was that it was $* a night for a room I wouldn't have paid more than $60 for if I knew the conditions. THIS HOTEL IS HORRIBLE! There was also trash in the stairwell and a smell of a locker room in the stairwells. If that is what you are looking for this is the place for you, otherwise I would stay anywhere than here!
