The resort is beautiful, staff was great. Everything you could ask for except don't go to the Atlantic Grill. The people who run it need to get a grip on the fact the the property sit's 200ft from the ocean. The would not let my 5 yr old daughter sit to have breakfast with her water shirt and bathing suit, yet would let a 10 year old boy in a speedo eat there. My daughter needed to cover up!!! It didn't get any better when breakfast came. How do you screw up eggs??? Cold and runny. Great resort but eat off premises'.
A Lost Holiday

We wanted to getaway for a nice family escape. Something we don't get to do very often due to being self-employed. At any rate we just wanted to spend a little quaility time as a family. The resort is gorgeous. It was apparent that it wasn't prepared for the hoards of people this holiday weekend. It took a half hour wait in line just to get to the guard gate The secured early check in was lost. So a Five hour wait began with a 2 year old. Eating by the pool to pass time was a mistake. I had to bus my own table. Then after waiting 20 minutes for a drink order I went to the bar myself for drinks. Then another 20 minutes passed before a food order was taken. Thirty minutes passed when the order was brought to the table and was completely wrong. So only 15 minutes passed til the food returned. It was mediocre at best. By the time we were taken to our room and changed to go down to the pool we had about an hour and half for our son to play in the pool before getting ready for dinner. The room was great. The grounds are incredible. The fitness center is nice for a resort. The pool area is outstanding. We went off grounds for dinner. We should have down the same the next morning but we didn't. I don't even want to say how terrible breakfast was.
I just don't believe the Resort was prepared for all the traffic. I think we would stay again due to the beauty and close proximity to home. Its a splendid property but don't go on a Holiday.
Weekend Getaway

My family and I wanted a weekend getaway on the beach. We stayed for two nights at the Ginn Hammock Beach Resort in a one bedroom suite. We fully enjoyed our stay! The pool was great, with the lazy river and kids pool. They had activities for the kids as well throughout the day. The service was excellent. You are greeted the moment you pull into the resort. The only complaint would be the air conditioner being in the closet by the bed. It woke me up several times in the night, not sure why they put it there. Overall, we plan on staying there again when we need a mini-vacation.

We stayed in a three bedroom villa and it was just beautiful. It was tastefully decorated and it felt like home. The only negative was the lighting in the bedrooms was not great, not good for reading. The kids enjoyed not only the space but the pool and beach as well. We definitely would pay another visit.

Loved the location of the resort! Website pics were misleading as we found out on arrival-do not recommend Harbor View. Cinnamon Beach condo has wonderful oceanfront view. Housekeeping services lacking!!! Linens and bathrooms were suitable. Food particles/debris scattered over patio and under furniture. Ccarpet dirty/stained and tile needed cleaning. Pool facilities/golf were outstanding!
