Took the Chance

I have family that is located in Lawrence and every summer I come up to visit usually alone but this time i had 2 kids with me. I always heard when if I needed a hotel never go to the Holiay Inn, so anywhere but there. This past time I visited this was the only hotel that was available, I took the chance and WOW did they impress me. The staff was great, the restaurant is very tasty, and the rooms are so comfortable I didnt want to leave. My nephews that I had with me loved the pool, hot tub, pool table and game room. It kept them busy busy busy, which for someone that has kids with them is the best thing then, at the end of everyday they slept so well that it was hard to get them up in the morning. We were all sad to leave, but iI will keep going back because of the rooms, atmosphere, and staff. I took the chance on the Holiday Inn you should too!

This property is not a new facility, however is very well kept. The rooms were clean and the staff was very accommodating. We were a little concerned about the noise from the indoor pool at first, however, as the rules indicate, the pool was empty at 10 pm sharp and there was no noise. The restaurant was exceptional for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

I have stayed at this Holiday Inn quite a few times over the years. For a period of time it was going down hill fast, they have since renovated the hotel with a major makeover. I love the new resaurant, better pool area and probably one of the friendliest staff I have ever encountered. If i ever forget anything or need anything it arrives within 10 mins. I did have a toliet that was running i called and they had a maintenance man up to my room in three minutes. I usually am in Lawrence for business and this time I brought my kids and husband with me. My kids loved the pool, I could hardly get them out of it. I have read some of the reviews on here and I encourage you to give the hotel a second chance. Its turned around 100% Hope you enjoy the place as we have!

The Holidome in Lawrence has THE best indoor entertainment area! This place has a large indoor pool with waterfall, hot tub, miniature golf, game/arcade room, table tennis, pool (the game) tables, sauna, nice fitness room, etc. The layout is cool...you can stand on your balcony and see the indoor pool/game area. The kids loved the pool and miniature golf. I stayed there for my birthday, and they let us have a pool-side birthday party complete with cake and food! It was a blast!
Road Trip Stop

We stopped at this new facility on our family road trip, so didn't stay long - but what a bargain! The rooms were lovely and the beds the most comfortable anywhere. Breakfast in the dining room was delicious. The bar and grill gave us a coupon - unfortnately we arrived too and tired to use it. It's just off the turnpike so an excellent stopping place.
