Great experience

From the VERY friendly staff to the comfortable bed, this was one of the best hotels ever. I was ther by myself on business for an entire week. Usually a very lonely experience, but not this time, at end of day, felt like I was going home to quiet room to study for tests. I was there to get continuing education in my business, grueling week but hotel, staff and dining made experience hard to bear.

Beautiful

Beautiful! From the waterfall in the lobby to the tooled leather wallpaper, it is just beautiful! Well worth the price.

The place is beautiful and the location is great for the Sundance district. Cars and luggage handling could be improved.

Renaissance Worthington Hotel

This is an ultra modern hotel with full services, located right in Sundance Square entertainment area. Fort Worth has one of the few downtowns that are safe and fun. Call the hotel for special weekend rates. The rooms are large and well furnished, but often under lighted at night. (so what else is new?) Room service is excellent. The suites have a variety of layouts, some 2-storey. Rooms have interesting views of the Sundance Square entertainment area and the colorful activities. The (indoor) pool is small and has an odd outdoor sunbathing area. I guess the layout is for privacy from the nearby highrise office buildings. I find the health club crowded at times. We don't care for the public bar which is on a balcony overlooking the lobby. This modern hotel is a bit of an oddity in the Sundance Square area which is mostly late 19th century in appearance. Vallet parking is expensive and a self-parking option can be had. Find out what is included when you make your reservation. Restaurant and movie ticket combinations are available as well as restaurant and performance tickets to the near by Bass Performance Hall at 4th and Calhoun Streets. There are several fine restaurants in the hotel, as well as a couple dozen restaurants of all sorts in the Sundance Square area. There are 30 movie screens within a 5 minute walk of the hotel. A discount price mall is connected to the hotel. Bus service to D-FW airport leaves from the front of the hotel. Weekend rates are often very good. We sometimes stay at this hotel when we have a 'do' downtown and don't want to drive home after.
