Best Things Nearby:
Obviously the skiing. The Pedestrian Village at the base of the mountain was a great experience. There are a lot of people happy to be outside, great shops, amazing restaurants with a fun party-like atmosphere.

Best Things About the Resort:
The Staff was very helpful and quick to respond to any questions or concerns. Great outdoor hot tub with clear views of the mountain and the ski runs.

Resort Experience:
Intrawest built the Pedestrian Village with all the stores, restaurants, hotels and condos; however, much to my surprise the actual Club Intrawest Timeshare Condos is not in the Pedestrian Village. When booking I was told it was in the Village. For not being in the Village they have set up the next best thing. Shuttle bus service every 20 minutes from 8am to 9pm. They provide you with an inside locker and washroom area in the Village very close to the Gondola to leave your skies, boots, and winter clothes. These lockers made a huge difference, allowing you the freedom not to have to carry your stuff around while walking through the village. The inside area is heated so they want you to leave them there so you won't bring your ski stuff into the room and possibly cause any damage. This resort unfortunately did not have an indoor or outdoor heated pool for the winter time. There was an indoor and an outdoor hot tub along with a sauna. The exercise equipment was not in a room, but rather out in the open for anyone to walk by to get to another area. The resort had a very nice free movie theater, with shows at 6pm, 8pm, and 10pm. DVDs were free at the reception to sign out to your room for the night. We stayed in a studio, which was a good size. Very nicely decorated with a king size bed, mini fridge, and microwave. A small kitchen table, three chairs, and two arm back chairs for watching TV with a DVD player. The bathroom was very large and bright. Each unit had a parking space reserved with a sign, so there was never a problem as to where you could park. In spite of this resort not being in the Village, we would be happy to go back and recommend it to anyone. The resort is built on a golf course that looked really challenging with water hazards and well placed trees.

Best Things Nearby:
Activities at the Ski Hill such as hiking.

Best Things About the Resort:
The golf course is fabulous.

Resort Experience:
The Club Intrawest Resort is very exclusive and definitely worth it if you are able to get an exchange week. The resort is excellent for families and very quiet at night. If you want nightlife, go to the village, a 10-minute walk away.

The studios are better than any hotel room, but I would recommend trying to get a one or two bedroom unit - they are gorgeous. The units overlook the golf course or the lake and the resort is only a ten-minute walk to the slopeside village. They also run a shuttle bus which departs every half hour. We used the shuttle quite a bit and it was free.

The resort has a 20-seat movie theatre in the clubhouse and they show a family movie every night at 6PM and another feature again at 8PM. They have a good selection of movies. The first person to inquire gets to select the movie for the day. You are able to bring your own DVD as well and ask them to show that during one of the above times or another time more to your liking.

Club Intrawest is great, you won't regret a visit.

Best Things Nearby:
About a 7 minute walk from the beautiful Tremblant pedestrian village, which is located at the base of the mountain. Close to a number of bike and walking paths and golf courses. Lake was across the road for boaters.

Best Things About the Resort:
Friendly and helpful staff. Has a "guest theatre" where they show movies in the evenings. Handy "bus" service (free) that takes you into the "village" and other resort stops if you do not want to walk there. Being so close to the centre of the village was a real plus.

Resort Experience:
The resort is attractive, well maintained, and situated on the "Le Geant" golf course. The location thrilled my husband. We were on the first floor so each morning I could sit with my coffee and watch the golfers teeing off. Sometimes the ball got rather close to the porch! The view of the trees on the mountain, beginning to change to the reds and golds of fall, was awesome.

There was a full kitchen with dishwasher. Also a washer/dryer, which was a great addition. The living area and dining area were spacious. The pull-out sofa was appreciated, so our overnight visitors were well accommodated. One bathroom, but it could be reached by way of the bedroom or the hall, providing privacy.

There were a number of BBQ areas at the resort and we had one quite close by. The outdoor pool and the hot tub were located behind the reception building. There was also a hottub inside the building and at least one other outside elsewhere on the grounds. The area was beautifully landscaped. In the main reception building, besides the great guest theatre, there was a games room that offered computer games, a beautifully decorated reading/relaxing area, and the exercise room.

Best Things About the Resort:
Excellent condition! Seemed to be almost new.

Resort Experience:
Excellent unit and amenities. I highly recommend this vacation. Nearby activities include skiing, dog sledding, golf, tennis, spa, shopping, and many others. The area is on the same level with Whistler for those who enjoy skiing. Add in the exchange rate and you cannot find a better vacation.
