Excellent location! Very nice area and close to the Metro. Great dining choices in the area (within walking distance.) Our room was very clean and well maintained. The staff was very friendly and went out of their way to make guests feel welcome. The breakfast was basic, but plentiful. We would stay anytime we visited DC!

The Capitol Hill Suites - Washington, DC was excellent. The location was perfect with regard to Capitol Hill sites and the access to ground transportation was great. We highly recommend this hotel!

Lovely updated hotel with sufficient amenities. Easy walk to Metro 1 block away. Good restaurants a short walk.Location just great, always felt safe, even when walking back to hotel late at night. So close to Capital , police presence around every corner. Great architecture all around the area. Hotel staff very pleasant, with a special thank-you to the ladies who took care of the breakfast room. They deserve a lot of credit. The area was always clean, food plentiful and they were always wiping up spills, clearing dishes, so they area was an inviting place to go. It was nice to have these ladies take such pride in their work, and we appreciated they're hard work. Would happily recommend this hotel...

This hotel is in an excellent location, only 2 blocks from the Capitol. The room was neat and clean...But... we had to call down to the front desk the first day to have them deliver some tissue paper up to the room. My wife also went down to the desk on the second day to report that our thermostat for the cooler was not working. He told her she was mistaken and that it was very easy to use. I took it with me to the desk showing another man at the counter that the battery was dead. He agreed, replaced the batteries and sent it up to the room where it then worked beautifully. I know big city living can be tough but attitude is so important when helping guests. The continental breakfast was great and the ladies working there were very friendly.
