After major renovations from another hotel chain, this Hampton Hotel just opened. As a matter of fact I was the first to register. I had stayed at this hotel under the other brand name and what a difference. . . lobby decor is beautiful, room very comfortable, breakfast area in the lower level very well furnished. Staff was very friendly and accomodating. My stay was in the middle of July and the only negative that I can say is that air conditioning in the public areas was too cool, to the point of being cold/frigid.

When we booked this, we weren't aware that this was a converted apartment, but we thought we'd still give it a shot. The restaurants seemed very nice on site, but right off, the front desk clerk had the personality of a tree stump. We felt like we were putting him out every time we asked a question. We also didn't get the room size we expected, but, to be fair, the room was comfy and clean. The second day, the staff was a lot friendlier -- maybe it was just a bad day the day before. There isn't a pool at this hotel, so we were a little dissapointed with that.
