Friendly staff, great package deal

For the one-week advance deal (hotel and airfare) I got, this was an excellent hotel. They are undergoing renovation, but it wasn't intrusive (to me). The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. When my key didn't work the first time, they sent someone up with me to check the second "charge." The bed was superlative and they supplied nice coffee and tea with the coffeemaker. (It did take two requests for someone to check that the coffeemaker didn't work, but when she came, she brought another with her. Then we learned that it was the electrical outlet that didn't work, so we just moved the coffee maker.) I had a king room, which had a modified type of upholstered chaise lounge which was quite comfortable for reading.
They do have wireless Internet access now, although I didn't use it. The business center has apparently been relocated in the renovation process, but it was nice that they offered a couple of computers in a room to check e-mails, etc., free of charge. (You access it with your room card 24 hours.)
As my son lives in an MIT dorm literally just around the corner, this was a very convenient location for me. It is an easy walk from the Central Square T station, and there are many restaurants nearby. What would be the second floor of the hotel is a Star Market; that was great to pick up a bagel, drink, snacks, etc.
Although I admit I wouldn't pay the rack rate, this was an excellent option with the package deal offered.

My boyfriend and I love this hotel, its clean, classy and reasonably priced. The rooms are really beautiful and most of them have a great view. The beds are soft and comfy as well, we never want to get up in the morning. The staff are really friendly. Its really close to alot of great little restaurants and pubs. Other attractions are just a quick ride on the T.

Check in was quick,so we put our things in the room went down stairs to have a drink in the lounge which was nice then off to the game. The location of the hotel was perfect. We were to minutes away by cab. Cabs were east to get going to and leaving the game. The lounge was still open when we returned to the hotel. Check out was easy and the valet was great. We would stay there again!
Friendliest Hotel in Cambridge

We chose this hotel because of it's location. We wanted something in Cambridge, yet within walking distance to Fenway. We arrived at the hotel just before noon and check-in wasn't until 3:00. They put a rush on our room, we walked to get a bite to eat and came back about an hour later. Our room was ready and we were able to get a quick nap before setting out again. Fabulous staff all the way around. Very comfortable beds and the cleanliness was impressive. Best of all, it is a pleasant walk (about 25 minutes) to Fenway and our beloved Red Sox!

This hotel has no pool/hot tub, is out of the way to everything - so what if you can take the red line (taking the T @ 10:00 nightly is a bad choice in this section of town. I have to say I did like the Bed and pillows. The food was awful in Sidney's.
