Very good value, friendly service, beautiful view of the river from both the room and the dining room, excellent dinner. The location was within walking distance of my meetings. Pool was nice as well.

Where do I even begin. Check in was a nightmare. The staff when we checked in at 3am was extremely unfriendly. When I called to make reservations I specifically asked for a king size bed. The woman at the front desk assigned us the room - when we got up there it had 2 doubles. The room itself is small - there were hairs in the "clean" bed sheets. The TV looks like it was bought in 1980. The air conditioning barely works. The parking is extremely overpriced. They charge $*/day for Internet use - this shocks me as they claim to be a business hotel. We walked in the front door at night and no one at the front desk said good evening or hello. The entire hotel is a huge incovenience to the guests. Overall - this hotel gives the city of Toledo a bad name. I have stayed in many hotels and I have to say that this is one of the worst I have ever stayed in. A remodel will help but they should also look at remodeling their staff - NOT A FRIENDLY CREW AT ALL!!!!
Only because it's next door to my client's office

Getting ready for a renovation...needs one! Stained chairs in the restaurant, old scratchy towels, stained walls in the bathroom, and they don't cater to business guests, as they just stopped providing the Wall St Jrnl

The harsh reviews almost scared me off, but the hotel was very nice. Our room was clean and well appointed, but the place is showing some signs of wear. Extremely comfortable bed, Herman Miller desk chair, great view, posh lobby and upscale atmosphere. Very helpful staff. Downside: Air conditioning was not very convincing, and bathroom really could use a vent. Some stains in hallway carpeting and general wear and tear that could stand updating. Valet parking is overpriced (park in the garage across the street) and internet is $10/day. Overall though, quite satisfactory and comfortable.
