The room was HUGE, with the bathroom down a hallway so if you're in the bedroom you really can't hear bathroom noises. Separate vanity area with mirror and lights outside the bathroom. Coffee maker with Montana Coffee Roasters coffee, hair dryer (tethered so it can't be stolen, that's a bit of a pain), bathrobes, nice big TV. We chose a room on the top floor so it had a cathedral ceiling and lots of windows. The windows have wooden shutters rather than blinds, a nice touch. And the bedroom is very large, with a big arm chair, desk & chair, side tables, and an armoire for the TV and there was still a lot of floor space left. Functional, boring, good sized, had dings in the linoleum and the vanity was a little beat but maybe if you're serving the ski bum crowd they're a little rough on the furnishing? Good water pressure, water drinkable and apparently not chlorinated, or at least no so's you'd smell/taste it. The entry way had loads of hooks, very helpful for hanging coats etc and again probably a nod to the ski crowd. Also a closet for hanging clothes. The staff really shone. They have a free shuttle service that will drop you off and pick you up in town and elsewhere (we just went to town in it). Staff were friendly and helpful and you never got a sense they were mentally holding their hands out for a tip. The restaurant staff were great. We had two meals here, one breakfast and one dinner, and both were very good. French onion soup is a specialty; fabulous and filling with onion "strings" piled on top. Believe it or not, the veggie burger was really good! Made with beans, flavorful. no room for more ...
