Do not stay here!

This place is run down and dirty and not worth $$$ per night, Most of the staff are rude too. It is convenient to the metro but there are better hotels just as well placed. If you want to stay at a convenient Marriott, stay at the Gateway, same access to Metro and the underground Mall. Better yet if your going to spend most of your time in Washington D.C., stay at a hotel in D. C. You will appreciate the ability to be close to everything and not have to run back and forth on the Metro with all the commuters.

location.location.location...nice room...metro, plenty of places to eat, shops...even a Rite-Aid...directly under the hotel...just take the elevator down and you are there...everyone was very nice...the hotel shuttle picked us up and took us back to the airport...we could have easily taken the metro...nice pool, suna, and fitness center...we stayed in a room with double beds...

We stayed at this hotel for a weekend getaway and were extremely impressed. Check in was incredibly simple and the rooms were impressive. The entire hotel was spotless and the staff went out of their way to be friendly and helpful. Our room was very quiet and the beds are incredibly comfortable. We've stayed in many hotels right in DC but having the Metro downstairs was just as convenient.

Great location but noisy. Overall it was a good stay. Nice rooms comfortable beds on the plus very noisy though. Our room was one with the door that could open up to the ajoining room. It was like it was not there as we could hear the phone ring and the TV when it came on as the sound was loud on the TV when turned on. Also they had lots of high school field trips booked in the hotel and they did not monitor the halls at all so had kids running in the hall. Food very expensive and business center charged by the minute. That said there is a underground walk to the metro just minutes from the hotel. The underground walk also lead to a few shopping areas but they are only open during the day.
If you need quite be sure to mention it at the desk when checking. For the money and the location I would stay again but would ask for a quite floor.

Very friendly and helpful personnel at front desk. Hotel Restaurant personnel also very friendly and helpful. We were very satisfied with the prompt room service. Food quality was excellent, just a little pricey with most items (especially breakfast items). The Hotel Lounge was quite and relaxing, but also a bit pricey! Hotel shuttle to and from airport running every 15 minutes was prompt and appreciated. Overall we enjoyed our stay, we were extremely satisfied with this Hotel and would not hesitate to return.
