My daughter and I stayed at the All-Star Movies for 2 nights, 5-25 and 5-26.The check-in was speedy. The pool area was okay, but there were kids screaming and playing in the pool until 2:00am even though the pool was supposed to be closed at 11:00pm.If you stay in a building close to the pool, don't count on sleeping. The rooms were old, small and cramped. Bed spreads were old and worn. The window in our room did not look like it had been cleaned in a long time, there were smear marks and finger prints all over it. While looking for TV remote, old papers and lots of crumbs and potato chips found under beds, but no remote. I called front desk and was told someone would be right up, they did not arrive until the next day. I have stayed at several Disney properties and the All-Star rooms do not measure up.I am glad it was only 2 nights.Spend the extra money and try a Disney Moderate resort instead.

Our Disney vacation was great. I didn't have problems with the Magical Express Transportation. The hotel staff was very informative. It was easy to travel from the hotel to the parks and Downtown Disney. The kids loved the pool.
Outstanding service.

Obviously everything at Disney is exceptional including Luggage Assistance and the Housekeeping staff . However, the airline check-in right at the hotel was wonderful. You check your bags and get your boarding pass right there. No lugging luggage around. But if you are taking your luggage with you, the Disney Magical Express transportation to the airport is great. Very friendly and helpful driver. Both the airline check-in and the transportation are free to Disney guests.
Weekend Trip for 3 Year Old

We had a fabulous time in Disney. The resort was nice for the money. We stayed at the Caribbean Resort the last time and the amenities were nicer as well as the rooms, but for a weekend getaway, we thought that All-Star Movies was just fine. The staff was friendly and we had no major problems with our stay. The only complaint I had was the quality of the sheets (made a ton of noise when we moved in bed) and our remote didn't work. The front desk did bring us a new remote when I called within 10 minutes though.
Being that we were only going for the weekend and we were taking a 3 year old child, I was pleased with our stay. If you are looking for an inexpensive, on-site Disney property that you plan on only sleeping in (because you are staying at the parks all day), I would highly recommend this resort.
