  • Rated 2 of 5 by a traveler from Travelocity.com
Pros: comfy bed, free hot waffles for breakfast, quiet, good cable, fast wireless, large room, refrigerator in room Cons: bathroom falling apart and not clean, bathroom door made huge noise opening or closing and bathtub cold water faucet handle kept falling off, hard to make it dark in the room, chain lock for room broken, breakfast area small and not clean, poor maintenance upkeep and cleaning Would not recommend

This is the worst hotel/motel on that stretch of other establishments on Riverside Dr. They were NOT courteous or friendly. I ask for a late check out 12:00pm (11:00am was the regular checkout time), mgmt call around at 11:15am bamming on the door, saying it's time to checkout, GGRRRR. Would NOT stay there again, would NOT recommend to any other than to say DO NOT stay on Riverside Dr. Macon, GA.

NIce high speed internet service and breakfast

The clerk gave me a hard time about the rate I was quoted over the phone but when she called the manager, he authorized the rate which I was very impressed. The beds are okay and the bathroom was very clean. The breakfast was fresh and enjoyed the free high speed internet service that was provided in the lobby. I would stay here again and the money I paid it was a very good place to stay.

I felt ripped off

The rooom was pathetic, the people seemed cheerful but when I requested the advertised rate, they refused to honor it. I was road weary and took the room anyway and when I got in the room it was like a crack hovel. The advertised internet was not as advertised, but I was offered the use of the computer in teh lobby, I promtly packed up and tried to check out and find a more suitable hotel and was insulted by the owners, and told my computer had problems. I am a computer engineer, I have certifications in networking, a+, c++ and am Microsoft certified. I am a Microsoft system builder and a desugn engineer for all forms of systems from buisness to gaming computers. My equipment was more than adequit and I used a network adapter antena and was still unable to get internet reception. I was told I was a trouble maker from the start and they refused to refund my money quoting their policy of being in the room over 10 minutes. I spent more than that trying to get a decent connection that would not drop durring use. All in all, it is a crack hotel, I highly recomend the bidget in that is in Forsyth which is where I stayed and recieved excellent service at a better price than I was offered here. I would not reccomend this hotel to anyone.

This was the worst Econo Lodge I have ever stayed at. Most are clean and present decent experience for the money. Here of course I would not recommend this location to anyone EVER! The rooms are dirty and furniture needs to be added. You could also see the outside from the front door and exhaust fan giving way to other critters from the outside.
