Toxic Mold?

I just stayed at this gorgeous hotel last week and became very ill during my stay. The clerks at the hotel stated that they had a toxic mold problem that keeps popping up from time to time. Apparently its an ongoing problem that they can't control. I stayed on the 1st floor near the lobby. It was speculated that they were sued over it and settled out of court with the condition that they do not have to disclose it. I became deathly ill while I was there and the GM was very rude and dismissive about it. I wouldn't stay at this hotel, period...especially if u are sensitive to things. I don't think it matters if you are allergic to mold or not...this kind will make anyone sick.

Our family really loved this hotel and appreciated the 5 nights we had there. I chose it based on the previous traveler reviews I read and I believe they were quite accurate. It is a very welcoming hotel and all the employees were very friendly and kind to us. I would like to add that our adult son has Down Syndrome and everyone at the hotel was very kind and understanding of his special needs.
The 24 hour heated indoor pool was a real treat and my son and I enjoyed using it a few times during our stay. The temp. was very comfortable from the moment we entered. We did not use the outdoor pool or the lazy river, but others seem to enjoy themselves.
There are a variety of restaurants within a few miles of the hotel. The continental breakfast was very delicious and well supplied.
I, also, appreciated the new laptop computer/printer setup at a desk that is available free of charge, in 15 min. intervals, to anyone staying at the hotel. Since I do not have a laptop, it was neat to be able to check e-mail quickly and send a note without a hassle. I told them my very favorable opinion of it.

Very nice stay. Staff is very friendsly and attentive to guest needs. No smoking and not pet hotel. My parents had problems with their air conditioning unit in their room and within 30 minutes of notifiying front desk the unit was changed and fixed. Breakfast offered bacon one day and sausage the next along with sausage gravy and biscuits, toast, fruit, bagels, cereal, eggs , doughnuts and muffins
Would stay here again

I have been going to the Smoky Mountains on vacation from Florida for 15 years & I have stayed many places in the mountains ! This place is one of the best ! It is clean ,the staff is excellent, my only complant is they could use some new beds. But the breakfast & every thing else is just great. I can not say enough about how friendly & caring the staff are at this hotel. And they really clean your room & bathroom every day & they clean it right! I will defintely come to this hotel again.
