I was very happy with my stay. The room was a good value, and was as advertised. It is just 7miles or so from the park down the hill, so it was convenient, and less expensive than the Ruby hotel or the lodge in the park. I stayed there just one night, but was well pleased.

Loved our stay at the Bryce Valley Inn. The room was very comfortable and clean. The staff could have been a little more helpful but everything worked out.

Out of all motels/hotels, I carry insulin, and this one would not provide a fridge without an extra fee. Water was cold/hot in spurts, and locks on door insecure. One did not even work so it would lock. Employees seemed unconcerned about our complaints. Try Ruby's Inn. Other rmotels/hotels go all out to accomodate diabetics at no additional charge. Name is misnomer-certainly NOT America's Best Value Inn. Cheap beds, basic room, top dollar rental.
Old and Cheap

Rooms haven't been touched since 1985. No remote for TV - channels 2-13 only. Old style telephone, bandage stuck to bathroom floor, non-working high speed internet. Worn carpet in common areas. Exactly what you'd expect for $* per night in Tropic, UT and nothing more. At least it was quiet and close to Bryce Canyon.

a little pricey for whqat you get. We thought the remote was lost, there are none! The place reminds me of the Holiday Inn of the 60's.Nice enough place to stay at but not a place to go on vacation.
