My wife and I stayed here while visiting our daughter at UGA. Not really being familiar with the Athens area, we found this hotel location to be excellent. Hotel is within walking distance to the campus, downtown Athens for shopping, etc. We found the front desk really friendly and very helpful. My wife enjoyed the breakfast buffet in the restaurant located in the hotel. The staff there was very friendly also. Room service, when asked for an extra blanket was very prompt with the request. Our room was neat and clean. We will definitely be back to stay when visiting Athens and UGA. Thank you.

My family and I came in for the Oklahoma State vs. Georgia game for labor day weekend (OSU '79) and stayed here for the game weekend. The location was great, but otherwise a blah experience due to the age of the facility. Not to be snobbish, but a decidedly blue collar experience, which I guess was okay. But since I travel quite a bit for business in major cities, I prefer a little more sophistication and a little less "cornball" antics - but you have to remember the place was FULL of GA fans, which contributed to the hayseed atmosphere. All in all, this place works for those who consider a sponge bath all you need for hygiene before a big night out on the town.

Everything was great! The staff was more helpful than any hotel I'd ever been. The city itself is amazing and we were right there in the thick of it, no driving for us! The rooms were spacious and clean for a good price. Overall you can't beat it!

Great service from all staff including check-in desk, housekeeping, & restaurant. Requested extra blanket and it was delivered to room in less than 5 min. Stayed in courtyard room and only complaint was noise from outside, but probably would stay here again.

We were treated great. The executive tower was nice, the breakfast was good and the service was outstanding.
