Very Unhappy!

The Hotel was nice but the Air Conditioner was not working and it was very hot in the room! The staff did not take the appropriate steps to make the room better! Will never stay again was not worth the extra money it cost to stay here!
Discount Online Rates Get You a "Discount Room"

My husband and I arrived at 3:30 p.m., a half hour after check-in time, and were told that our room was not ready and that we would have to wait for 30 - 40 minutes. We waited outside for an hour. When we finally got into our room,and opened the bathroom door we were overwhelmed by the smell of cigarette smoke - all of the towels, hand towels, and washcloths smelled intensely like cigarettes. When we called the front desk to complain, we were told that "when you get a discount price on a hotel you should expect to get a discount room."
Very good hotel, needs staff training!

I have stayed at this hotel many times before. I am very happy to see they have renovated all of their rooms and upgraded most things, TVs and such. Two items need additional attention: 1- The hotel wireless highspeed internet connection seem to be very weak in the rooms. 2- During my last stay, the bartender, although try to be very social with the guests, used the word "*hit" often at the bar which was interesting.
Other than these two, a very good hotel for the money. Probably the best in Redding. They continue to give each guest two complimentary drink and a hot breakfast coupon.

Had a good stay here. Quiet, comfortable, clean room. Bathroom was well stocked and clean. Breakfast was good and included in the room price. No problems here.
Oxford Suites falls off the mark.

We booked here because past experience with this chain was great. However, we were sadly dissapointed. The check-in clerk was haughty and snooty, the foldout bed was unsleepable (broken and sporting a urine stain) and the noise and over-crowding in the pool area kept us from utilizing the facilities. We won't be back.
