In the Heart of One of My Favourite Cities

In the Heart of One of My Favourite Cities

We spent 4 days at the Lodge Alley Inn, in actually two rooms there were so many of us! The bachelor studio that two of my boys stayed in was gorgeous, the antiques and the flat screen TV's were a nice combination. The one bedroom apartment we stayed in with the rest of the kids was nice and cozy. The kitchen needs an update but the location was prime! I walked throughout Charleston and loved being in the center of things. This would be the perfect location to return with just my hubby, it wasn't the greatest family friendly resort, for young children anyway.

the overall experience was tremondous, location is right in the heart of activity, walking and leave your car at the hotel. This is a time share inn and we bought into it we can travel anywhere but we prefer this location for now, it is very clean, and very classic for this part of the country. we did the sale pitch and received $100 giftr certificate which paid for an outstanding 2 meals, no complaints from this part of the country

MY husband and I stayed in December and it could not have been better. Rooms, Location, Friendly staff and service - absolutely awesome! We paid no attention to the atttempted sales pitch and didn't feel pressured inside the hotel to accomodate the attempts. Now they have high pressure people on the street but we blew them off too! The point is everything to do with the hotel stay was crazy awesome!!

A good buy for the money

We were very pleased with the Lodge Alley Inn. Check-in wasn't great - but it happened eventually. There were small problems with the suite - like no remote for the livingroom TV, but overall the accomodation was very comfortable.

The location is outstanding but the staff appeared sloppy and appathetic and the room was in need of maintence. Better hotels are available for the same money without the timeshare sales pitch.
