bed bugs at no extra cost

The staff are friendly and personable and the breakfast was good. The location is close but is by a declining part of town. The problem was our 15 month old. The carpets are frayed I had to flatten 2 carpet nails exposed by the doorway. The baby woke up with 17 bed bug bites. I wasn't sure what they were so I used the hotel computer and typed in bed b- the history search showed bed bath and beyond and bed bugs. Obviously they have a problem with the bugs but the staff acted surprised and stated no manager was available. We had to do all the laundry with no staff assistance. Moving 3 young kids and 2 weeks of suitecases is a hassle so we had the baby sleep with us and removed the crib. No staff ever assisted or followed up. At check out, no manager was available and no one claimed to no about our experience or offered help or discount.

There's Four us of so we needed ROOM ... which we had lots of - Wanted a cot for 2 nights - was able to have one the second night ... the staff was great and very accomodating, we KNOW that we can't always get a cot, that's just the way it is ..... We used the pool but not the work out room (our fault) ... liked the privacy, and were close enough to Bright House Field and the Blue jays stadium to suit us since we booked "last minute" ... I'd stay there again - the MOST important part was the large room ... wish the pull-out didnlt have that annoying bar though ....

Clean, silent and large rooms. Beautiful view of Gulf and sunset from our room window. Only 5 minutes from downtown Clearwater and Dunedin. Continental breakfast is just OK. Limited time free internet access should be available in lobby.

I stayed at this hotel recently on business in the area. The pictures shown on this website just don't do it justice. For the price range, the rooms are large and very clean. Although its a bit far away from the business districts, I found it to be a pleasure to stay in this quiet bayside residential part of town and well worth the drive. The staff are very helpful and friendly. Free Internet access in the rooms was super fast, but bring an ethernet cable.
