Not quite up to Holiday Inn standards

I think of Holiday Inns as clean and bright, good for families. Although the staff was helpful and the room was large enough, there was something creepy about this place. Room looked as if it was badly remodeled, with a bathroom door that was too large which swung way out into the room. Low qulity soap/shampoo. Hotel convenience store/drugstore had only a few items. Slightly sleazy. Breakfast was okay. Didn't apprevciate beer-guzzling dad on the elevator at night.

Good hotel, bad restaurant

The hotel was good for the price and location. The beds were a little hard but plenty of pillows and the sheets were clean. Plenty of towels- walk in shower but no tub. Very clean including carpets and excellent view of Disneyland fireworks. The shuttle to Disneyland was great. Only real negative was the restaurant- very stingy on the portions and dinner was straight out of a Banquet TV Dinner literally. Breakfast was edible but buffet was 10.95 and 3. for kids and hardly served anything. All in all, stay in the hotel but don't eat there. Also, come with a first aid kid- asked the front desk for a decent band-aid for my child's cut and they didn't want to help- just gave us a tiny little band-aid and directed us to a pricey first aid kit in the gift shop and said they couldn't help us.

O.K.

When we arrived, although it was late, we expected a non-smoking room which was part of our confirmation. There was only one room left and it was a smoking room. We took it because we had paid for the room AND had been traveling all day (plane and car) from Ohio.

Nice, off the beaten path for a major destination. Low traffic.

This hotel has to be one of the best hotel's we have stayed in. I will definitely stay again. The price was great and the staff was wonderful. The pool was great so was the Cabana Bar by the pool.
