getting what you ask for

I was disappointed with the hotel that I stayed at because they showed no effort in trying to get me the room that I had requested. I specfically asked the hotel for a room with a king sized bed, when I went to check in they booked all of those rooms and had me staying in a room with two double beds. I would not have minded if it was a one night stay, but I stayed in the hotel for four nights. They showed no effort in trying to correct their mistake and I was very disappointed that they bascially ignored my room request.

Room was spacious, clean and well made. Coffee/tea service and fridge in room. Continental breakfast is skimpy.

What a disappointment

Staff did not give any directions to dining facilities or fitness center. Pool locked and not accessible. Comp. breakfast limited to stale bread without butter, spoiled fruit, and dishwater coffee served in lobby without plates or silverware. Parking extremely limited and tight. Room window blinds insufficient to block outside lights. Bed poorly made.

Delightful Surprise

Clean and comfortable with every possible ammenity; fridge, coffee pot, pool, in-room movies. Plenty of hot water. Friendly and helpful staff couldn't do enough. Free shuttle to the airport when I needed it Pleasant and safe street to explore on foot, and not so far from major features by car. Don't miss the amazing restaurant where the food is reasonable but scrumptious and creative. A little gem, especially for the price!

We were looking for a room in the Burbank area due to the Airport. Settled on Safari due to locattion and Coast name. The "continental" breakfast falls short of the breakfast, it's a start. Pool is fantastic, Room very clean & "roomy".
