I'd Return!

I was at Safari in July of '07 and it was my first time in California. The people who work there are very nice and seemed to enjoy working there. The rooms are very clean, which I appreciate. I cannot swim, but the pool was pretty, especially at night, made me tempted to learn! If ever I return, I certainly wouldn't mind staying there again.
Forgive my long delay in sending a review... just found this!!!!

Room was clean, we had the end suite with a rollaway, slept 5 with no problem. Nice part of town, McDonalds for breakfast 500 feet away.

Safari Inn is a very clean, nice room. It's NOT a Marriott and the price is reasonable. It is a classic Motel. Those looking for maximum ammenties need not stay there. But if your a family that needs a room to sleep in, comfortable bed, parking without paying. It's a great Hotel. The continental breakfast is not worth mentioning. Food at the Sister hotel was excellent and only a 2 min walk. Staff was always happy to help.

This hotel was ahuge let down. We tried this hotel because it was in a nice neighborhood but the room was stank, bed linens were not clean and breakfast was sad

Great location and loved the retro look. We like to stay at non chain hotels. Has great character! Close to everything! Great for families. Nice pool and work out room. Rooms are spacious and neat. Staff friendly. We are going back to Burbank this year and will stay again at this wonderful little hotel!
