This hotel was not the best or worst I've experienced. My only complaint with the room was the uncomfortable bed, but that's the chance you take. All else was satisfactory, though the desk staff might have been more 'interested' in guest problems;they seemed indifferent. But I would likely stay here again. Great location.

No bedspreads, no heat, no art on walls, poor lighting, no place in bath to put toiletries, phone did not work properly, noisy from street below (even on 7th floor), only mirror was in bath, tv checkout did not work.

The room was small, but had a large, comfortable bed and was all you really needed in a hotel room. There was a lot of construction going on in the building (lower floors), but it didn't disturb us much. The hotel was located in the middle of downtown within walking distance of most major attractions. It was also very close to several bus lines and the subway. Finding food was no problem. Bathroom was a bit cramped.

Great Location near Union Square and Downtown Business district. Easy 1.5 block walk from BART Montgomery Street Station ... only $5.15 from SFO Airport. Value priced. Nice Rooms. Pleasant help. Daily evening wine tasting in Lobby was a nice touch. My only negative thought was the oversized lobby fireplace could pass as a gate to Hades. But that's character!
