We wanted a hotel in Cambridge for a reasonable price, including parking, and preferably breakfast and internet. This fit that bill. It even seemed a great deal when I thought I was getting a king room with a 'study and sofa bed' - extra space to put a crib - and only 2 miles from Harvard Square, where I needed to spend some time. Unfortunately, Travelocity does not transmit room preferences when it sends the booking, so there were no larger rooms available when we checked in (at 6pm). And no cribs - they only have two, so call ahead. Immediately after finding all this out, I had them call a cab to get to Harvard, and it took 25 minutes longer than predicted to come (avoid Green Cab from Somerville at all costs -- this happened three times). And I'd forgotten that even 2 miles in Cambridge is a pain and takes 15 minutes of driving. So within an hour of arriving, I was really unhappy and regretting my choice of hotel. But to their credit, they did a reasonable job of making up for it. We had the room we'd requested the next night, with a crib. Breakfast was just fine for an eat-in place of this caliber. The beds were nice, the walls were thick enough that we didn't hear the elevator 5 feet from our door. The hallways were a little dated and ugly, but that's not my highest priority. Overall, I would probably stay there again if the price remains right, I'd just book directly, call ahead if I need anything, and call my own cabs!

We have used this hotel on several occasions and always find it comfortable and staff friendly. The beds and pillows are very comfortable and the room is always clean. It is convenient to downtown Boston without being in the middle of the hubbub.
I would recommend it to everyone as a convenient and nice place to stay.

I stayed in this hotel for four nights earlier this month. Overall very satisfied. Check-in was very quick, and was greeted by Karen who was very helpful and even recommended a wonderful place for dinner. My room ( was spotless and had just about everything one would need-lap desk, comfortable beds, safe, bathroom amenities, coffee maker (pod style brewers).
Parking is free at this hotel (~$40 at downtown hotels) and is in a small underground garage. Previous posts indicate their being a scarcity of spaces, however I never had a problem parking the rental car. Do keep in mind that the garage is of a weird configuration, however your car will fit and be safe. Some members expressed that they had trouble with SUVs however I saw plenty of Ford Expeditions and Toyota Highlanders in the garage.
The room overlooked the entrance to the parking garage, however the alternative was overlooking O'Brien highway which is a very busy road. Make sure to request a rear facing room as the Lechmere T station is directly across the street and is the terminus for the green line and you will hear the train during the night if you have O'Brien. I didn't have any noise problems, however some folks at breakfast commented about to us about the noise.
Breakfast was wonderful and offered a wide variety of hot items, cereals, pastries, coffee, fruit juices, bagels, and more. The breakfast hosts always replenished the supply and greeted me in the morning.
The hotel also offers a workout room, however it offers very limited Life Fitness brand equipment (2 treadmills, 1 upright bike, and 1 elliptical).
Overall, I am very happy with this hotel as it offers unmatched service, value, and location. Every single staff member smiled and went the extra mile. Special thanks to Karen & Rafael at the front desk!

Good location a block from the end of the Green Line and two blocks from a huge modern mall.
Friendly, helpful staff.
Big rooms, super breakfast buffet, working internet.
We couldn't ask for more.
