Wonderful Visit

I stayed there in May 2009. The rooms were clean and neat. Included a coffee pot and supplies, built in hairdryer in the bathroom (not skimpy on the towels either), iron and ironing board. Room size was good and nicely decorated. The bed was so comfortable. Three pillows each, including a feather pillow made sleep easy and good. The floors had ice machines, vending machines and commercial washer/dryers. Nice help yourself breakfast buffet, with many items. I booked a smoking room, but you wouldn't have known it when you first walked in, it was that clean and fresh. I will continue to use them.

Needs update

My family and I have stayed at this particular Embassy Suites many times. However, last time we visited, it really looked like it needed some attention. Our room felt very dated and the air conditioner was SO loud, we could barely hear each other talk or sleep. Bring your own pillows, they're flat as a pancake! The bathrooms were in pretty sad shape. We stayed at the Embassy Suites in D.C. prior to arriving in Cary and boy, what a difference! D.C. was beautiful. We love the convenience of Embassy Suites, the rooms are a great size for a family and you can't beat the breakfast. We still love to visit Cary and would stay here again, just hope that maybe they'll start bringing the hotel up to the latest decade!

Nice place to stay

We found the hotel clean, the staff very friendly and helpful. The bed was so comfortable!!! Pillows are awful - bring your own. This hotel is in a great location - lots to see and do in Cary, Raleigh and the surrounding areas. Wonderful highway system just a couple of blocks away from the hotel. The free breakfast is very nice. If you enjoy shopping then this is a great area with lots of opportunities to shop at all your favorite stores close by. You do need a car to get anywhere, there are only a couple of restaurants that you could walk to. If you are looking for a nice place to stay for vacation - they have a pool outside that is open until October and a fairly good exercise room to burn up the calories you ate at one of the many, many fine restaurants in the area. We recommend this hotel and will book any LaQuinta again because of this facility.
