we stayed here for a weekend seminar at the university. the hotel was close to the university which made it very nice. it was surprisingly clean given the age of the hotel. while there was a refrigerator and microwave in the room, there was NO COFFEE maker IN THE ROOM. while they did have coffee available in the lobby, the lobby DID NOT OPEN UNTIL at least 7 a.m. the rooms are very small but the staff was nice.

The rooms are clean. Easy access to parking. Located very close to U of F. No cigarette smell in the room. The grounds were neat and clean. I liked the fact that the sink was in the bathroom, and not in the sleeping area. If you're looking for fancy frills, this place is not for you. But, if you need a nice place to stay that doesn't cost a lot of money, yoou've found it here.

ABV motel is an older facility, but is quiet, clean, fresh paint, unexpectedly had microwave, and refrigerator in room. Walking distance to Shands hospital. No complaints except I had to pay for a newspaper & china buffet restaurant is a little expensive and the food quality is only fair.

No towels in the room and couldn't get any hot water. I advised them of the problem the next day and they said it was my fault. I even took it to the hotel manager and he said there was nothing wrong with the room that no one else complained. Refused to refund some of my money. I will never stay here again.

Stayed at the Americas Best Value Inn Gainesville with my family. The hotel is in a nice location and has clean rooms and a good price. The kids loved the pool. There was no hairdryer in the room, but they were available from the front desk.
