My husband and I stayed here while visiting our son who is in school in Austin. The place is lovely, extrememly clean, and very comfortable. It location, within walking distance of the University of Texas, is its best attribute.
The restaurant is high-end, with very good food. The dinner prices are high but not out of line with the quality of the food and service.
One word of warning, the lovely breakfast buffet is NOT necessarily part of the price of the room. We wandered into the main building, saw the spread, and mistakenly thought that it was complimentary--it most definitely was NOT included.
