My husband and I wanted a place with a pool and other activities. Unfortunately the pool was closed and they couldn't accommodate. The boat cruise was also closed after being told it was a daily activity. The "Luxuary Riverfront view" was not all the luxuary or riverfront. We could look out the corner window and see the river. Saw more of the tennis courts/"pool". The restrauants were fair. the employees were nice, but unfortunately our experience was not good.

I should have gone with the majority of the reviews on this one when looking for a hotel to stay at, but the pictures on their website won me over. This hotel was old, and had a stale cigarette smell to it. The room was okay but did NOT look like it had been remodeled. The bed comforters were horrid and dirty ( I was afraid to sleep on them...luckily I brought my blanets). I booked this room about 2 weeks prior to arrivial and was TOLD I had a guaranteed River View Room with a King Size Bed (Non-Smoking). Keep in mind they took the money for the 1st night right away. To my surprise, when I arrived (around 4pm) I was told they saw I booked a King Size River View Non-Smoking Room, but they gave my room away and could not explain why they had done so. They ended up giving my husband and I a room with a trash dump and truck delivery view... OH and a corner river view (through dirty windows). This was supposed to be a romantic getaway for my husband and I. The only good thing about staying at this hotel was that we won all of our money spent on the hotel room back on the slots and sports book. And of course Outback Steakhouse. I will not stay at this hotel again.....nor will I recommend this hotel to anyone I like...or dislike....
You gotta try this now

I have stayed at the Aquarius four years in a row for the Laughlin River Run, a motorcycle event. In the past the Aquarius was ok, the rooms were well worn but fairly clean. Big changers this year!! The room I stayed in was newly remodeled as well as the entire floor of this hotel. Staff was freindly and helpful, food was great. Major changes in just about everything in the hotel. They even added a Starbuck's which was great. Until all the rooms have been remodeled ask for a remodeled room on your next stay.
