Vendue Inn is wonderful!

The location is in historic Charleston, walking distance to so many historic sites, surrounded by restaurants and small shops. The property is charming--clean, tons of character. The staff could not be more helpful in recommending and booking tours, restaurants, etc. It's a pet friendly property, but be aware that there is a $50 cleaning fee if you bring your pet. Valet parking is available for $16 a day, or you can self-park for $12 a day. There is a full breakfast with many menu choices every morning included. Coffee, tea, and fruit-infused water is always available in the lobby. The manager's reception with wine and cheese every afternoon is nice. Warm fresh-baked cookies and milk every night available in the lobby is a great treat. I would highly recommend this hotel in Charleston!

I've stayed at the Vendue Inn twice and loved it both times. The location is fabulous. Their hospitality is amazing. I liked the first room I had better than the more recent one. Both were beautifully decorated but the first one had a desk and a large bathroom with a big tub. It's downside was that there was no view (unless you count a window through which you could see the feet of people walking by). The other room had a balcony, but overlooked a parking lot. I will continue to stay here whenever I visit.

The front desk as well as all of the employees were great. Very friendly and very helpful.
The overall hotel experience was first class all the way. I would recommend this Inn to anyone.

We really enjoyed our stay at Vendue Inn. We were there for only one night, but it was great. The staff was very helpful and attentive to all of our needs. The room was charming and very cozy. I was a little concerned when I booked an interior queen room, but when we arrived I was pleasantly surprised that even though the room didn't have a traditional window, it did have a large sky light window right above the bed. Oh, and the bed, it was super comfy! The bathroom was large and had marble tile, bowl sink and the tub had 4 jacuzzi jets that were fabulous after a day of walking around Charleston. The breakfast and wine reception were wonderful. The location was so perfectly located, just a few yards from Waterfront Park. We will definitely stay at the Vendue Inn again in the future.
