Front desk not friendly

I was not asked whether I wanted a non smoking room or smoking room. I was given a smoking room and it smelled. I was too tired to do anything about it but wish someone would have mentioned it to me at check in.. The staff at the front desk at check in and check out were sullen and didn't waste any words on me.
I arrived late and departed early and the room was sufficient for my needs.

We stayed here for 2 nights. None of the lamps in the room worked.Called front desk and maint. Never showed up. Also, the walkway we were told to use for ease in getting to our room was not cleared of snow. An older couple would of had a hard time getting to room using that entrance.

Nice room for the price. Clean, fresh. Good bed. No problems; just an overnight stay before a flight out.
Stuffy

From the minute we walked in, the air was very stuffy. We were in a "non-smoking" room but the odor and general lack of fresh air was oppressive. It may have been cheaper than other places, but if you can't sleep, it doesn't matter how cheap it is.
