Great Service

This was the first time traveling with our dog and there were no problems at all with the reservation. Everything was clean and the room did not smell. Bathtub could have used a little Drain O but so could my bathtub at home. Housekeeping staff and front desk staff were very friendly. Close to interstate, Downtown Raleigh and the normal food places. Would stay again next time we visit Walnut Creek Ampitheater.

Passing through

I wouldn't recommend staying here for more than a night. We were in Raleigh for a wedding and it was a nice cheap place to stay. This hotel is great for anyone that's just passing through and doesn't want to blow a bunch of cash. The room was very spartan, and was pretty clean. Television selection sucked but they did offer games, etc at a per usage charge. There was no iron in the room, and the staff declined to send one up for us. Parking was a little tight, as we had to drive around a couple times to find a space. Hotel was located right by the freeway (I-440), and very easy to find, as there is a huge red sign that one simply can not miss. Check in and check out was very fast. There was no refrigerator in the room, which was a very big downside, as we had brought beer for the night. Speaking of beer, we had to drive around a bit just to find any. Bed was pretty comfy, and shower was nice and hot. Make sure to bring toiletries, as the hotel selection is somewhat limited, and did not include toothpaste, although we did not inquire as to the availability of other toiletries (we brought our own, except soap, shampoo and conditioner).

Good value

All I needed was a place to sleep for the night. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the price was low. The only drawback is that there is very little in the way of local restaurants. The Raleigh area is odd that way. Some parts have everything you can imagine within a mile radius, other parts are rather desolate, from a services point of view.

Hotel was okay and the price was good. The staff let me check in a little early which was helpful, however, my room wasn't made up until the 3rd day I was there. Carpets need to either be replaced or re-stretched. Some of the clientele was a bit sketchy.

Very nice for the money. Only negative was that it did not provide free internet unless you were a member of the hotel chain. I think they should have had at least one public computer to check email.
