Very good

The hotel was overall very good. I didn't like the lack of option to upgrade to an ocean view. But the room was very clean and had all the amenities we needed. It had a kinnette with dishes and a dishwasher which made it easy to bring back leftovers or run to the grocery store to get some breakfast items in case you don't want to step out for every meal. There was only 1 restaurant on premise which we didn't try, but we went to the nearby Italian place which was decent. There weren't a lot of dining options nearby but if you drive upto PGA Blvd, there were a ton of restaurants and stores.

Thank god I did not listened to your comments!

I stayed at the Hotel... (some other comments mentioned that it was surrounded by a "horrible and unsafe area) NOT TRUE... obviously, it had to be posted by people that DON'T LIVE in Florida... Anyway... ALL WAS GREAT.. EXCEPT: VALET.. * I DON'T MIND TO PAY THE $6.00 VALET, BUT EVEN IF YOU HAVE PARKED YOURSELF YOUR CAR , THEY COME BACK AT YOU TELLING YOU THAT YOU HAVE TO GO BACK TO THE ENTRANCE.. waiste of MY time. Otherwise, the ONLY BAD THING I NEED is that (as far as Front desk informed me) NONE OF THE ROOMS ARE CATEGORIZED AS "smoking" or "non smoking" AND SO, I HAD A ROOM THAT LITTERALLY STINKED SMOKE.... I HAD TO BUY CANDLES TO A NEARBY STORE... SO... IF YOU WANT TO STAY AT THAT PARTICULAR PROPERTY WHICH (BESIDE THAT IS PERFECTLY FINE!!!) WELL, MAKE SURE TO BRING SOME AIR PURIFIERS (CAUSE THEY DON'T HAVE IT) AND IF YOU ARE A SMOKER, WELL... THIS PLACE SHOULD HAVE NO PROBLEMS WITH YOUR STAY. IF YOU ARE A VERY DIFFICULT PERSON, DON'T STAY THERE, CAUSE THIS HOTEL IS MADE FOR NORMAL PEOPLE... WHO APPRECIATE A SIMPLE, OCEANFRONT PROPERTY THAT HAS IT ALL. PERIOD. THIS IS NOT A RITZ CARLTON, SO, IF YOU ARE SNOBBISH, DON'T. IF YOU ARE DOWN TO EARTH, THEN, ENJOY IT, YOUR FAMILY WILL REALLY ENJOY IT, SO NICE TO BE ON THE BEACH. PS: THEY WILL TRY TO HAVE YOU SIGN UP FOR THEM TO SELL "VACATION WEEKS"...THIS IS A WELL GARDED HOTEL.

GREAT MEMORIES

Our family has one big vacation a year. It is the one time of the year that we are all together in the same place. We chose the Palm Beach Shores for the first time in June 2007. It was AWESOME! We had some confusion upon payment of our room (using another travel website, which we will never use again) The front desk was very accommodating and concerned and gave us full use of their phones/fax services to get the problem resolved! That aside, the room was great! The small galley kitchen was fully stocked with all the amenities you would need, you just go grocery shopping. Microwave/Convection oven, range top and small dishwasher! The master room had a beautiful, comfortable bed and massive bathroom with sep. shower & tub. Living room/dining areawas small, and the pull-out sleeper was, at best, a full sized bed. but we were there to enjoy the sun & fun at the beach/pool. On Saturday they had a luau & pig roast which was 13.99 and all you could eat! It was really fun for the kids! The pool is surrounded by thatched-roof enclosures with exotic birds, and one Macaw, Cocomo, is very friendly and talks once in a while. OK, the slight issues are there is a mandatory $7 parking fee and $3 room safe fee; even if you don't use the valet service (and when you do, there is a tip expected) or the safe. The beach chair rentals are ridiculous, it was cheaper for us to buy our own at Wal-Mart and leave them there in the hopes the next guest would be able to use . We will return here every year. We've already made reservations for 2008!

We are owers. We have a one bedroom unit. They are beautifully decorated and there is plenty of room with a nice kitchen with about anything you would need. They just replaced all the matresses this year. Very comfy!! There is a beautiful view of the beach and the pool area. We love sitting on the balcony of our unit in the sun, watch and listen to the ocean and the live music from the pool area.

Everyone is so friendly and ready to help you out with anything to make it more comfortable or with something to do. Roz does a fantastic job with activities. There is always something to do. Day by day they have a full board of activities to choose from. They have a real nice restaurant, spa and nail place, right on site.

There are lots of things to do in the area. We love to spend the day on the Princess gambling ship with a brunch. Or they go out in the evening also. Well worth it. On Thursday nights spend the evening at the Sailfish Marina. They have a craft show. You can feed the fish, look at the beautiful boats, and make sure you try a grouperdog!!! Yum Ym. There are lots of places to go fishing. If you want to go out on the ocean it is a short drive up to Jupiter. You can spend a day at McArthur State Park. Pack a picnic lunch. Take a water taxi over to Peanut Island. You can also pack a picnic lunch and take a tour of JFK;s bunker. To many other things to mention.

We have been coming here for 8 years. We love it here!!

Beautiful hotel right on beach. Surrounding area needed help.

Hotel was nice from the outside. It's not located in the best neighborhood. I wasn't afraid for my life or anything, it just wasn't great. The rooms were excellent. The bathroom is huge. Our room was clean and looked just like the pics on the website. Food was pretty good. Very casual -- there's nothing fancy there. Pool was great and so was the tiki bar. Very close to the beach which was beautiful. The staff wasn't overly accomodating, but wasn't horrible either. Nothing in the area as far as night life goes. Well, not the kind of night life you're probably wanting if you know what I mean! If you're planning on staying inside the hotel for the most part like we did, then you're fine.
