Get more than U pay for. Clean room, had a smell, tho', had to notify desk clerk. Business room only has 2 pc's with no printer. Cut off in 20 minutes! I was allowed to go to the business office/administration to use computer and printer. Very decent breakfast with helpful lady. Tips accepted!! Front desk staff good. Second, younger , better, more professional. Everything I wanted, I got. No probs. The first day, I had no remote for tv and did not get one until other fellow came on. would go back.

My husband and I were looking for a place to spend one night in to be alone and get away from everyday life. I booked a room at this hotel because it offered an indoor pool and room service. When we got there, we went down to the pool, only to find that the water was far too cold to swim in. I went to the front desk to inform them of this and I was given an excuse about the insulation of the room not allowing the water to stay warm. Then I was disappointed to find that there wasn't a room service menu or number to call, so I went down to the lobby again and asked about it, and was told that there is no room service. To top all of that off, my husband and I were laying in bed and a man tried to come in the door without announcing himself or knocking. He said he was checking smoke detectors. Thank goodness I locked the extra lock about one hour prior to him trying to enter. The location of this hotel is great, but it surely is not as it was advertised.

I do not generally write hotel reviews, but in this case I would like to update some negative things that were said by previous reviewers. In a bit of a hurry to prepare for this trip, I closed the deal BEFORE reading reviews. If I had read them prior to committing, I might have been tempted to choose a different, more expensive hotel.
My room and the public areas I visited were all quite clean and fresh without any hint of the mustiness or odor. While I did not use the swimming pool, it appeared in fine order. It is possible that some renovations have occurred since previous reviews as the quality of carpets, etc. was perhaps, the most noticeable thing about the hotel. Otherwise, it was pretty much a standard accommodation in its class. The lobby and meeting room areas had high ceilings and heavy wood trim. The room was pretty much what you might expect. The TV, heating, plumbing, coffee maker, iron etc. worked fine and there were lots of towels. Not much of a view, because there is not much to see in the area. It is located near the Interstate entrance, and close to restaurants, the mall and the Coliseum. I found the staff polite, but did not have occasion to speak with them beyond checking in and out.
At the price I paid, it was a bargain. I would stay there again if my requirement were access to the Coliseum or interstate.

In an effort to be ecology friendily, this facility has taken it to a new limit. It is one thing to change the sheet upon a new guest arrival but it is another not to provide clean wash clothes upon arrival. On both days of my stay, I had to request clean wash clothes (upon arrival there was none provided) and on the second day a request was made but none was provided. In addition, it was clear that no one inspected the rooms for maintence. The bath tub was clogged and taking a shower was an adventure.
