This trip was to celbrate my mom's 70th bday. My sister and myself and my mom's sister flew in from chicago. We had requested a pool side bottom level room and that's just what we got. There was a 60.00 Per week additional charge to have a mini fridge and microwave brought to the room, but was worth it to keep drinks cold and have snacks in the room. The hotel staff at the front dest was always pawning off 10% coupons for on site "haneys cafe". Was terrible, would never suggest it to anyone at any time..... The tiki bar that is right on the other side of the swimming pool (and can be accessed through gate from inside pool area) was great. Open air
bar that even though open late, could not hear the noise in our room which was only about 30 paces away... Not in a clustered area, not close to the beach (we didn't care about that, knew it in advance) but close enough to all of the above and then some...Plenty of shopping, eating, liquor stores, etc. Close by... Maid service was terriffic...She left us 4 packs of coffee everyday after requesting it the 1st morning there... Great, relaxing, would return.. If I had one complaint it would be that the pool is not heated in the winter months, although the outside temp was in the 70's you couldn't swim in the pool. Could only be used to cool off when overheated from margaritas and laying in the sun.....

had a nice room by the pool. tiki bar next door played music until 10 and stayed open til 2am. although we were only 50 feet away, could not hear any noise while in the room...bar is also right next to pool area, so afternoon cocktails by the pool are made easy. rooms clean, service top notch. haney's cafe.. bad bad bad

I stopped at this hotel on recommendation from a gas station down the road. Glad I did! Quiet, during the week, Tiki bar gets a little rowdy on Saturdays though. Still, got sound sleep and rooms were very clean, staff very kind and friendly. Would recommend to any weary traveler! Very peaceful area.
