Always a pleasure

We have stayed at this property a couple of times.
Not only is it in a great location, but the property itself is great. It is always clean, always well-staffed, always friendly and always a pleasure!
Upon check-in, you are given a "goodie" bag with a small water and plenty of treats! In fact, there are little squares of chocolate on the check-in counter, just waiting to be unwrapped.
The staff is friendly and informed, they are courteous and efficient. The property itself is very well maintained. The food is good -not that we eat there much, since there is SO much great food within walking distance to the hotel-mainly the snack menu. The bar is a little slow and they don't have a blender, but hey, they seem to have everything else.
Oh, and I sleep better here than at home! The beds are fabulous and I love the linens.
This hotel is within walking distance to great restaurants, upscale and fun shopping, antiques, bakeries and specialty stores. If Pasadena doesn't have it, you don't need it!
I really like this place and give it 4-5 stars. I recommend this hotel for personal, business, and family travelers.
Efficient and Fun at Courtyard Marriott

This hotel has a lot going for it for the business and even leisure traveler. The room was very clean and well appointed but visitors should request a courtyard room. I found this out during a recent stay when loud rap music woke me up at 3:30am. It turns out one of those late night taco trucks was stationed in the gas station parking lot outside my room.
Nonetheless, I would stay here again. The staff was personable, pleasant and helpful and Old Pasadena is a great part of town, especially if you like a wide variety of dining establishments and people watching. There are several parks nearby as well.
I would recommend to the hotel, however that they let people know when breakfast is being served in the hotel dining room. I found no mention of it in the information supplied to each room. I also had difficulty with the free internet access where I was able to log on the first night of my stay but not subsequently.
The hotel features a beautiful courtyard where you can swim, enjoy the jaccuzzi, and have a drink or a bite to eat surrounded by lush gardens. It's also easily accessible by Freeway which means business travelers can get in and out with great ease.
I recomment the Courtyard by Marriott in Old Pasadena to anyone who appreciates ease of use and the more than adequate amenities offered.

This is a great hotel, near the main strip of popular shops and restaurants of Pasadena. Excellent service, spotless and comfortable rooms, near freeways but extremely quiet. Excellent value. I would not hesitate to return.
