No restaurant

Apparently the restaurant burned down a month and a half ago. There was never any mention of this on Travelocity. I really, really wanted to stay at a hotel with a restaurant. I tried to get the online travel website to let me move to another hotel, but they informed me that my credit card would be charged even if I didn't stay there. Nice. I once had to cancel a hotel reservation on short notice that I had booked on an online travel website. It was no problem at all. Guess who I'll be using next trip?

Good: Great bed, great water pressure, fairly quick Internet response
Bad: Sheer curtains on first floor with no heavy curtains to close so that folks can;t look in? Not a good idea.
Ugly: This Holiday Inn has a lot of wedding parties. I've been here before and have returned due to the low price. This was our final visit. At night, expect loud noise, running in the halls and screaming. If you want an undisturbed night of sleep, this is not the place to stay.
The pace has security doors requiring you to use your room key to enter. A good thing, right? Well, if the security door is disarmed it gets a little uncomfortable if you walk the halls to get ice. Everyone and his uncle has easy access to the motel and if there happen to be quite a few drunk wedding party guests....have fun negotiating your way back to the room.
I booked online and when I woke up in the morning, there was a bill slipped under my door. There was a charge to my charge card for the room..at a lower rate It took a while at the front desk to clear this up.
I would not go back here again.
