My husband and I stayed here through the travel agency. We received a sweet deal which includied buffet breakfasts for each of us, a real treat foodwise and also because the dining room has a lovely view of the Canaan Valley.
Our room was clean, comfortable, and quiet. Staff were friendly and courteous. Atmosphere was enjoyable and relaxing. There are frequent deer sightings & it is not uncommon for deer to walk right up to the lodgings. Great photo-ops.
There are pricey evening meals served in the dining room. But if all you want is a sub or pizza, that can be had as well in the on premises cafe.
While we were there for motorcycle touring of the area, we noted acitivities for children, such as an outdoor movie and something similiar to a hayride through the area.
This was not our first stay, but it had been many years since our last stay. We were not disappointed in anything about the resort.
