Good price

Unfortunately, we only stayed 1 night because we were going on a (belated honeymoon) cruise the following day. What a great first night in Waikiki! We wished we had planned for a few days longer because we were so impressed with the Ilikai. We arrived late in the evening and were not able to dine before the restaurant closed, but the front desk personnel were helpful and suggested alternative locations. We were upgraded to an ocean view w/balcony (without requesting it) and were absolutely thrilled with the beautiful room and view! The spacious open air lobby that leads right to the beach was great and we would definitely stay there again. I had stayed at the Ilikai Hotel in 1970 and was happy to be able to visit it again, although with so many renovations I didn't recognize it, and it was still a very enjoyable experience!

Hotel rating is a three star. We were expecting a mid-level hotel and we were very suprised by the low rating, It should be a four star hotel. The room was spacious with kitchen & office. The bath room was very nice. The location is certainly unbeatable. We will come back and spend more time in this hotel.

Everything in general was great. The main problem was the elevators that rarely worked right. They are trying to updgrade. Hotel is open air and spacious. good view of marina where opening scene og Gilligan's Island was filmed and Waikiki is in easy walking distance. shops inside hotel Good valet service , all shuttles and buses stop at hotel. also good view of Waikiki and city. Clean and friendly service.

would recommend this hotel to everyone travelling to Hawaii, The rooms are large enough for a family. Easy walking to beach. No restaurant or bar during day but lots of places close by.Construction during day but the noise is tolerable. Staff very friendly and helpful. Can't wait for my next trip to the Ilikai.
