Great location!

If you want something close to the action, but not the traditional hotel experience, this is the place! The hotel was central to everything we came to Hollywood to see. We could walk to most of the tourist locations. There were plenty of restaurants. Easy access to public transportation. Wonderful staff that were very helpful. The beds were quite comfortable and the rooms very clean. We stayed in the two bedroom suite. It was comfortable and very quiet. The kitchenette was great. I would have liked to have had a coffeemaker in the room though. This isn't a glamorous hotel, but it was perfect for our stay. We would definitely stay there again.

The hotel is on the older side, don?t look for plasma TVs here... But everything was in good working order and clean. Free Wifi. The location can't be beat for Ford Theater and surrounding area ?attractions? & stores. Walking distance to anything. Free parking WOW. And a low cost, compared to other hotels in the area. Breakfast was kind of sparse, spend your calories elsewhere. We?ll definitely return to this fun hotel. Thanks!

Hollywood for a night

We were pleasanly surprised with this hotel. It's not fancy, but it's a nice, older hotel in a very convenient location (Hollywood blvd and Highland) with plenty to do and lots of places to eat within walking distance. The full kitchen was a nice surprise, and the free continental breakfast and FREE parking are pretty rare for the price in this area. The exercise facility was basic, but clean and nice to have. The parking lot is small, but adequate. The only other drawback was the fairly loud gurgling noise coming from the kitchen sink. This can be eliminated if you put the stopper in the sink and fill it with a little water. The staff was very courteous and helpful.

We stayed here for two nights as we wandered from Phoenix to Palm Springs. We took a chance based on online reviews and were pleasantly surprised. The hotel is a two minute walk to the Kodak theatre and Mann's Theatre. We were able to park the car and wander around and the area felt very safe. This is an old but clean hotel. Don't expect high end amenities but if you're looking for something comparable to a comfort Inn or Super 8 but with more character and a perfect location for exploring hollywood this is it. We're staying here again next year for 3 nights
